UFO Tech
UFO Tech (Universal Flexible Open Technologies) is an initiative focused on creating practical tools and knowledge for PHP development, APIs, Symfony, and modern service-oriented architectures.
This website is dedicated to the UFO Tech initiative and brings together technical documentation, articles, and other development-related materials.
Open-source tools and practical knowledge for PHP and Symfony — so that complex things get done simply.
UFO Tech (Universal Flexible Open Technologies) is an initiative that builds open-source libraries and shares experience in PHP, Symfony and service-oriented architecture.
Everything that grows out of this initiative is collected here: libraries and their documentation, articles, notes and breakdowns of real-world tasks. All built on one idea: less routine and manual work, more time for what really matters in your product.
Open-source Symfony and PHP packages under the MIT license: from APIs and service integrations to code generators and core components.
Guides, examples and answers to "how does it work inside" — so a library can go to production, not just be tried out.
Articles and notes about architecture, approaches and tools: honest about pros and cons, with examples from real projects.
Mission
The goal is to simplify the development process of high-functionality services that can be easily integrated into projects of any complexity.
I aim to provide developers not only with tools, but also with the knowledge needed to use those tools effectively.
The focus is on practical solutions: less abstract theory, more working examples, configurations, and explanations that can be applied in real projects.
Why Use UFO Tech Libraries
UFO Tech libraries significantly simplify the integration of complex systems, reducing manual work while ensuring a high level of adaptability and security.
This is an ideal choice for projects that require high flexibility and open-source code.
What You Can Find on the Website
- Documentation and integration guides for libraries
- Materials about PHP, Symfony, JSON-RPC, APIs, and service architecture
- Duplicates of publications from the Telegram channel
- Practical notes, case studies, and useful technical articles
The goal is to simplify building feature-rich services that integrate easily into projects of any complexity.
I aim to give developers not only tools, but also the knowledge to use them effectively. The focus is on practical solutions: less abstract theory, more working examples, configurations and explanations you can take straight into your project.
Principles
- Practice over theory. Every library comes from a real task and is proven in real projects.
- Minimum routine. Whatever can be derived from code, the library derives itself: configuration, documentation, data conversion.
- Native Symfony mechanisms. No reinvented wheels where the framework already has a solution — libraries fit into your application the usual way.
- Openness. Code, issues and discussions are public; extensions and contributions are welcome.
Libraries
APIs and service integrations
- JsonRpcBundle — a JSON-RPC server for Symfony: any service becomes an API with validation, documentation and caching.
- REST Bundle, MCP Bundle, RPC Mercure Transport — extensions: REST endpoints, tools for AI agents, a Mercure transport.
Clients and code generators
- SDK — typed clients for JSON-RPC APIs in PHP and Symfony, TypeScript types from OpenRPC documents.
Core components
- DTO Transformer, RPC Objects, RPC Exceptions, transport contracts — the building blocks of the other libraries; they can be used on their own as well.
The full list of packages is on Packagist, the code is on GitHub. The documentation keeps growing: sections for more libraries will appear over time.
